TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

1. CONDITIONS OF HIRE

(a) The hiring of the equipment will commence from the commencement date specified on your invoice and continue for the term specified. The hirer is entitled to use the equipment for the hire period only.
(b) The hirer agrees not to use the equipment at locations or purposes different to the equipment’s general designated purpose.
(c) The hirer acknowledges responsibility for the equipment and is liable for any damage.                                                          

(d) There may be a delivery fee depending on location (this will be specified upon booking your event)


2. PAYMENT

(a) The hirer agrees to pay Eventique Co. the hire fee and the damage waiver fee (bond) for the equipment hire for the hire period. (Bond applies to certain hire items & will be specified upon hire)
(b) The required fees must be paid to Eventique Co. prior to the commencement date of the hire period. Your booking will not be secured until payment of the deposit is confirmed.                                                                                                                    

(c) A non-refundable deposit (amount specified on the invoice) will need to be paid via direct debit in order to secure your booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total hire price amount. A confirmation email / receipt will be sent to the email provided once payment has been finalized.                                 (d)Remaining payment must be paid via direct debit 14 days before the event. If Bond Payment is required, this will be refunded after the event, however in the unfortunate event that items of Eventique Co. are damaged, the bond amount will not be refunded.                                                                                                                     (e) The Owner requires security details at the time of order placement. An order will not be confirmed until and unless security detail is endorsed and supplied to the Owner.

3. DAMAGE

(a) The goods shall be returned in a reasonably clean state & No damage done to all items hired.

(b) The Hirer is responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery / pick up until collection by the Owner or returned by the customer - Hirer, and shall pay for all equipment damaged or any loss however caused during that period.

The Damage Waiver is payable by the Hirer to cover all costs associated with normal wear and tear to the equipment hired, the damage waiver also does apply to the following:

(1) Damage due to mysterious disappearance of the equipment;
(2) Damage caused by the inappropriate use or operation of equipment;
(3) Damage to, or loss of, the equipment from any unknown cause;

(c) The Hirer shall protect the equipment from the elements during the time of delivery or pick up, storage or waiting period before pick-up.
(d) The Owner shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to any person, property, animal or things whatsoever arising from the use of the equipment hereby hired and the Hirer indemnifies the Owner in respect to any claims for such loss or damage.
(e) By making a booking through confirming a quote via signature, deposit payment or remittance of funds, the hirer acknowledges and agrees to the Owners Terms and Conditions.

 

4. PICK UP

(a) Upon pickup of the hired Equipment, the hirer is required to show their driver’s license in which a copy will be taken for security measures by the owner. (Applies to some DIY hire items)
(b) Return of the Equipment must be done with an Owner representative present to witness the return of the Equipment & to check off all items hired.
(c) If Equipment is returned without an Owner representative present the Hirer is responsible for the any damage or theft of equipment.
